Privacy Policy
Boo & Company GK (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes the importance of protecting users’ personal information and complies with the Personal Information Protection Law (hereinafter referred to as “the Personal Information Protection Law”). The Company will handle and protect personal information appropriately in accordance with the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Privacy Policy”).
1. Definition of Personal Information
In this Privacy Policy, personal information refers to the personal information defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Law, i.e., information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual through descriptions such as name, date of birth, or other details contained in the information (including information that can be easily cross-referenced with other information to identify a specific individual), or information containing personal identification codes.
2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
The Company will use users’ personal information for the following purposes:

2. To provide guidance and respond to inquiries regarding the Company’s products and services.
3. To investigate and resolve technical issues related to the Company’s products and services.
4. To respond to actions that violate the terms, policies, etc. (hereinafter referred to as “terms, etc.”) of the Company’s products and services.

6. To improve or develop the Company’s products and services.
7. To create statistical data that has been processed into a format that cannot identify individuals in connection with the Company’s products and services.

3. Change of Purpose of Use of Personal Information
The Company may change the purpose of use of personal information within a scope that is reasonably deemed to have relevance, and will notify users or publicly announce any changes.
4. Limitation of Use of Personal Information
The Company will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use without obtaining the user’s consent, except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws. However, this does not apply in the following cases:
1. When required by law.
2. When it is necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the user’s consent.
3. When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the user’s consent.
4. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government or their agents in performing legally prescribed duties and obtaining the user’s consent may interfere with the performance of those duties.
5. Proper Acquisition of Personal Information
The Company will acquire personal information properly and will not obtain it through deception or other improper means.
6. Security Management of Personal Information
The Company will implement necessary and appropriate supervision of its employees to ensure the security management of personal information, preventing risks such as loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage. Additionally, when outsourcing the handling of personal information, the Company will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure that the entrusted party manages the security of the personal information.
7. Provision to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without prior user consent, except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws. However, the following cases are not considered provision to third parties:
1. When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use.
2. When personal information is provided in connection with a business succession due to a merger or other reason.
3. When personal information is jointly used based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law.
8. Disclosure of Personal Information
When a user requests the disclosure of personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, the Company will confirm that the request is made by the user and will promptly disclose the information (or notify the user if the information does not exist). However, this does not apply if the Company is not obligated to disclose under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws.
9. Correction of Personal Information
When a user requests the correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “correction, etc.”) of personal information because it is not true, the Company will promptly investigate and correct the personal information as necessary, to the extent required for achieving the purpose of use, and will notify the user of the correction. If the Company decides not to make the correction, it will notify the user accordingly. However, this does not apply if the Company is not obligated to correct under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws.
10. Suspension of Use of Personal Information
When a user requests the suspension or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “suspension, etc.”) of personal information due to it being handled beyond the scope of the publicly announced purpose of use, or obtained through deception or other improper means, the Company will confirm that the request is made by the user and, if the request is found to be valid, will promptly suspend the use of personal information and notify the user. However, this does not apply if the Company is not obligated to suspend under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws.
11. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies
The Company’s services may use cookies and similar technologies. These technologies help the Company understand the usage of its services and contribute to service improvement. Users can disable cookies by changing the settings of their web browsers, but doing so may prevent the use of some features of the Company’s services.
